Cutting: The bulk of our material flows through a Koskovich Miser II linear saw. Advantages of linear saws include quick set up times, automated cutting, part labeling and an overall safe cutting environment. This efficient cutting translates to lower over head and lower per piece cutting costs, driving down the over cost of production for RMTC.
Laser Setups: Lasers are cool! We have a series of interactive laser projection boxes that project detailed information on to our steel table tops ensuring your trusses are built with guaranteed geometry based on the design output of our computer software. This decreases set up times and ensures properly sized plates are placed on your truss joints with the proper orientation. The laser projection system allows us to efficiently build super complex designs in short order.
Roller Gantry: Our trusses are pressed twice. The first time utilizes a rail-road track mounted gantry press that rolls up and down our entire production line, embedding the plates into the truss. This allows the truss to be conveyed over to a series of exit rollers that automatically move the truss through a second Finish Press that ensures the plates are fully embedded into the lumber. Pressing the plates twice is our way of ensure you'll have a stable, sturdy product shipped to your job site.
Job Site Delivery: Our fleet of roll off trailers bring trusses to your job site in an efficient manner. Trusses can be difficult to handle and bundles of trusses are even more difficult to move! That's why we 'roll' loads of trusses on to the ground at your location to make picking and setting the trusses as easy as possible.
